Marketing Director – National LGBTQ Task Force’s Winter Party Festival
As Marketing Director for the National LGBTQ Task Force’s Winter Party Festival, I led the strategic vision and execution of all marketing, communications, and fundraising initiatives for one of the largest and most iconic LGBTQ+ events in the country. Over my six-year tenure, I transformed the festival’s digital presence and ticketing performance through a creative, data-informed, and community-centered approach—all in service of the festival’s mission to celebrate LGBTQ+ identity and culture while raising critical funds for the fight for full freedom, justice, and equity.
My work spanned the full 360° marketing mix—from developing annual digital campaigns and overseeing a team of 10 content creators to building brand collaborations and managing a $100K department budget. I designed and implemented targeted email marketing and paid/organic social media strategies that resulted in $1 million in annual ticket sales revenue and over 1.7 million campaign impressions, with a reach of more than 425,000 prospective attendees.
In addition to campaign strategy, I produced original editorial and video content, managed influencer partnerships, and worked directly with talent to create visibility for the festival and its mission. I also delivered data-backed performance reports to internal stakeholders, driving smarter decisions year-over-year.
Through this role, I not only helped grow a world-class event—I also helped amplify the voices and values of the LGBTQ+ community while raising essential funds to advance the Task Force’s advocacy work for LGBTQ+ rights nationwide.
