A Taste of Culture – Juneteenth Celebration with Initiative x Paramount Advertising
I event managed “A Taste of Culture,” a Juneteenth celebration hosted by Initiative and Paramount Advertising, designed to honor and celebrate Black culture across the African diaspora while supporting Black-owned businesses and advancing educational opportunities for Black youth.
Key Highlights:

Community Impact: Paramount Advertising amplified the event’s purpose with a Donation Offer QR code that received 109 scans and 14 thank you notes, resulting in a $1,090 donation to HBCU First, funding 10 months of technology for its mentoring programs supporting Black college and career success.
Meaningful Engagement: Participants enjoyed immersive conversations, raffles, and socializing centered on Black culture, with survey feedback highlighting the food, cultural experience, and purposeful engagement as favorite aspects.
Positive Outcomes: Post-event surveys revealed 96% of respondents felt their sentiment towards Paramount Advertising improved, with average satisfaction scores of 4.12–4.48 out of 5, and 96% eager to attend future events.
Strategic Promotion: Leveraged customized event flyers and a comprehensive social media campaign across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to boost awareness and attendance.
This event successfully combined cultural celebration with social impact, supporting Black-owned businesses while advancing educational equity for Black youth.
