Black Mental Health Volunteer Activation – Initiative x Paramount Advertising
I event managed a powerful hybrid activation with Initiative and Paramount Advertising, designed to support the Black Mental Health Alliance’s mission of improving mental health resources in Black communities. This first touchpoint experience combined education, volunteerism, and social impact, creating lasting benefits for youth and families.
Key Highlights:
Educational Programming: Featured engaging guest speakers from the Black Mental Health Alliance who led interactive sessions on mental health inequities and practical ways to promote wellness in the Black community.
Hands-On Volunteering: Mobilized volunteers to assemble 170 mental health care kits filled with essential resources, delivered to youth struggling with mental illness.
Meaningful Donations: Raised $2,425 through Donation Offer activations—funding over 29 membership applications for individuals in need of mental health support within the Black community.
Community-Centered Partnerships: Catered food and beverages exclusively from Black-owned businesses, reinforcing the event’s commitment to economic equity and cultural celebration.
Outstanding Feedback: Achieved exceptional survey results with average satisfaction scores of 4.5–4.9/5 and 100% of participants expressing interest in attending future events. Attendees highlighted the dynamic speakers, impactful volunteer activities, and supportive environment.
Strong Engagement: Donation Offer QR code received 97 scans and 11 heartfelt thank you notes from participants recognizing the event’s positive impact.
This event exemplified how corporate partnerships can create meaningful change by combining education, community service, and direct support for mental health initiatives.
